About Emma

Hi, I’m Emma!

I’m an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker supporting adolescents, teens, and young adults (12-30) in Williamstown and online across Australia. I work with young people navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, self-harm, managing difficult emotions, and sport.

Whether you’re an athlete strengthening your performance or a young person navigating big emotions and racing thoughts, together, we can take steps to:

✔ Build confidence

✔ Balance performance goals with mental well-being

✔ Improve relationships

✔ Reduce harmful behaviours

✔ Spend less time consumed by your thoughts

✔ Feel seen, heard, and accepted without needing

to mask or explain

✔Build sustainable routines that work with your neurodivergent mind

As a neurodivergent person who was once seeking calm in my own storm, I understand the need for co-creating goals while normalising and validating the neurodivergent experience.

  • My background spans private practice, sporting environments, youth mental health, community mental health, emergency and crisis mental health services, and violence against women’s programs.

  • My work combines strategies from cognitive-behavioural therapies, mindfulness and acceptance-based approaches, and cognitive-analytic-informed therapy.

As a neurodivergent person myself, I bring lived and learned experience to my work, and I understand the importance of collaboration, choice, and normalising the neurodivergent experience.

Therapy with me often focuses on building confidence, reducing harmful coping patterns, improving emotional regulation, and creating sustainable routines that work with, not against, your brain.

  • Having a deep understanding of young people and their experiences allows me to connect and understand their challenges. Supporting the person for who they are and embracing their strengths is integral to the process.

I blend professionalism, relatability, fun, and laughter to make therapy a less intimidating space. All while considering sensory-related needs and supporting you to build tangible strategies and skills that work for you!

When I’m not in session, you can find me on Instagram, discussing the latest Bravo reality TV drama (therapist by day, pop culture expert by night), weightlifting, figure skating, or spending time at the beach.
